Dr Stephen Lennon
Executive Chairman
Dr Lennon (BSc Chemistry and MSc and PhD in Metallurgical Engineering) is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience across several major sectors. These include power, gas, aboriginal commercial enterprises and public and private sector advisory.
He is an experienced Independent Director and Chairman, with extensive Board experience in leadership, oversight, audit and risk, strategy, investment, finance and funding, performance monitoring, communications, business development and ESG. His appointment enhances Mount Burgess’s leadership capacity as it progresses development of its key assets.
Harry Warries
Non-Executive Director
Mr Harry Warries (Ms Mine Eng., FAusIMM), a mining engineer, was appointed to the Board on 1 August 2016. Mr Warries is a Fellow of the AusIMM and prior to setting up his own mining consultancy business he worked on a wide range of projects, both in Australia and overseas, including a number of major feasibility studies. He has provided mining engineering services relative to copper, nickel, cobalt, gold, lead, zinc and graphite projects, as well as conducting numerous due diligence studies and technical audits.
Will Belbin
Non-Executive Director
Mr Belbin (B.SC, M.SC) has over 20 years’ experience working in gold and base metals exploration, with extensive experience in project generation and evaluation. Will was an integral part of the Fisher East nickel sulphide discoveries as exploration manager for Rox Resources Limited. Previously Mr Belbin worked with Newexco as a senior geologist at Western Area’s Forrestania Nickel Project.
Mr Belbin holds a geology degree from the University of Western Australia and a Masters of Mineral Economics from Curtin University’s Graduate School of Business and is a Founding Director and Managing Director of Metal Hawk

Serene Chau
Company Accountant & Joint Company Secretary
Serene (B.Com M.Fin CPA) qualified as a CPA in 2002 and worked within the Accounting Profession with Arthur Anderson and Co and Ernst and Young in Malaysia. In 2004 – 2005 she returned to the University of Western Australia, where she gained her Master of Finance and since then has worked for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in Perth as a Senior Analyst.
Jan Forrester
Joint Company Secretary
Mrs Forrester joined the Company upon listing in 1985 and was appointed Joint Company Secretary in 1993.
